Romano Guillen will join US Postal from iranian team Team Oasis after a record fee of... zero overbids. Which was/is good. The trident of cobblers (Douglas, Lombard, Guillen) will race together around Day 32 or so (he will join around Day 30, and including travel from Iran to Hawaii, so Day 32 he will join the happiest camp on planet Mood).
Meanwhile, we're having a calm season start. Max Douglas got his first result at Ancaquia CB, the heat avoided the win but at least we managed to get out with 11k that were spent (Leonards Podnieks ended 8th as lead out). The rest of the team is now at Sri Lanka, enjoying vegetales (lamb, beef, and chicken are forbidden, since those are sacred for the natives). Sylváin Kabbah is becoming more impatient, as the date for Tour of the Sanreizan is closer and he hasn't trained a single point. Even Dylan Lombard and Denis Hama trained some points in their favorite disciplines, and Kabbah is just thinking about his turn.
A turn that might be far away, and means that Podnieks will be our captain to get some break away rides (not results). The media talked with manager Armstrong and they asked him for Douglas, ''Max is fine, he is training now,'' he said with a smile, a very odd smile. Far from reality, poor Max is inside a tank full of mercury, with a large number of cables and pipes connected to every inch of his body, the methods of training are mysterious here at US Postal.
Armstrong, helped by Henry Christian and Wan Mohammed Yap, is designing the strategy to handle Kabbah's training camp. The advantage he has is the fact that born as sprinter is always good when the total amount of trained points are close to 60, something that makes nervous every manager who loves training. Considering that information and some other the high staff has, there's a clear idea on how to proceed with him (of course, we won't tell, advices are given in Forum), but he won't be trained as the previous sprinters before him (McCain, Sievers). But it doesn't mean anything wrong, unless he refuses the mercury treatment.
We still looking home for Hama, he is the only guy (at the moment) who could be transfered at any point. Of course, the negotiation won't be easy, as you know the real nature of manager Armstrong, typical american bully. He felt it was wrong to grab (steal) a guy from a small african nation, but then he forgot that guilty feeling after ten minutes.
This was the second update of season. Hopefully the team will take a longer break before posting any good news... but the squad is prepared for the challenge and feeling that after almost two seasons suffering and struggling like a poor guy choked by his russian father in law, everything will be fine (sorry for that joke, Nat; but your dad is a bit...)

That would be great, you know I don't want sanctions :)
I'll sort the papers to avoid embargo problems
I'm recharging his DP now, he might grow some by then.
he is debuting as a teammate on Day 15. If you can up his DP before then that would be great!!
He is resting now, preparing for his next race. I hope he can lead his NT in CB very soon :)
Looking forward to seeing how Max goes when he's fully fit! -- he'll be in the national team very soon!
